SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 2 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The accumulation of suspended ash over the Aridane Valley dissipated this Monday, after the notable increase in ash production from the Cumbre Vieja volcano yesterday, as reported by the Cabildo de La Palma.
The high production of ash throughout the day, mainly affecting the entire west and northwest of the island, with special intensity in Los Llanos de Aridane, forced this weekend to make a series of specific recommendations for this town, differentiated from those provided to El Paso, Tazacorte, Tijarafe and Puntagorda, which have also been affected by the ashfall.
On the other hand, given the situation of the laundry that is in the Las Norias area, the way up from Puerto Naos has been closed. For safety reasons, the entry and exit route to Puerto Naos will be the road that leaves from Las Manchas to the tennis club.
Today the residents of La Jurona, San Nicolás, Jedey and Manchas de Abajo will be able to collect their household belongings. To collect belongings you need to present your ID and a document that proves your address (registration, receipts, rental contract, etc.).
To water the farms in Puerto Naos, Charco Verde and El Remo, you must make an appointment with your community of irrigators. Measurements may vary due to weather conditions and the eruptive process. Please keep informed in official sources.
