SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct 31 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Maritime Rescue has located since yesterday afternoon five boats with 208 migrants on board, most of them men of sub-Saharan and Maghrebian origin, as reported by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) 1-1-2 and Maritime Rescue.
At the Arguineguín dock, in Gran Canaria, 131 occupants of three boats were transferred, and 77 migrants located in two other boats were evacuated to Puerto del Rosario, in Fuerteventura.
The salvamar Alnair, the guardamar Talía and the guardamar Polimnia participated in the rescue of the 208 migrants.
