The cinemas located on the top floor of the Gran Sur shopping center, next to the TF-1 highway, owned by Grupo Atimos Canaria SLU, are launching a new stage with a comprehensive reform project that will end next year. The renovation will include the latest in film offerings, technology, design and additional customer loyalty services.
The reopening of its doors took place yesterday and the new service offers customers important changes in the areas of cleaning, management and image and with a new name: X-Sur Cine, a name according to this new stage.
In the Gran Sur shopping center, important renovations of the spaces have also been undertaken, starting with the covered parking, more lighting and cleaning and greater comfort in the parking spaces. On the upper floor, the renovation of the spaces has begun on the floors, with a more current proposal, adapted to the times and target of its clients.
As a great novelty, in this new stage, X-Sur Cine will offer all its customers the possibility of buying their tickets online through its website: www.x-surcine.com. Another notable novelty is that theaters will offer a greater variety of films in their original version and subtitles in Spanish, in addition to increasing the number of show times.
Apart from the rerun of the cinemas, Gran Sur has also recently reopened Ultima Informática, the most important store in the south of Tenerife specializing in technology and information technology; Mercadona, a leading supermarket chain in distribution and sale of food in Spain, and Base Deportes and Intersport, the best options in sports stores.
Likewise, as a result of the changes in the cinemas, new quality restaurants will soon open, which will provide customers who decide to watch a movie with the family the possibility of living a comprehensive experience.
Grupo Átimos Canaria SLU, owned by the Aswani family, under the management of Anup Aswani, has a long history in the retail sector. Among its properties are reference shopping centers, including Plaza del Duque, Siam Mall and Nivaria Center, in addition to the aforementioned Gran Sur.
With this new X-Sur cinema project, the Aswani family continues with the aim of improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of the south of Tenerife, echoing the requests made by the resident and tourist community, and firmly betting on the municipality of Costa Adeje.
