SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct 30 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Roads and Mobility Area of the Cabildo de Tenerife will continue executing the resurfacing works of the TF-1 during the next week, between Costa Adeje (kilometer point 79.1) and Adeje (point 77.3), in the direction of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The works will be carried out between Monday night and Friday morning, and the traffic diversion will be carried out before the section of action in the Santa Cruz direction. The works will be marked so that all vehicles comply with the temporary driving regulations imposed, circulating on the road in a southbound direction in two directions.
The first vice-president and insular councilor of Cabildo Roads, Enrique Arriaga, highlighted the positive progress of the works and emphasizes the environmental impact: “It is a pioneering work in Spain, since half of the asphalt is recycled, helping to reduce the ecological impact and with a quality result, as has been verified in the resurfaced areas “.
The resurfacing this week will affect the Costa Adeje / La Caleta / Fañabé (78) and Adeje (79) links in the direction of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, which will remain closed overnight. The works will be carried out at night, from 10:00 p.m. on Monday, November 1 to 6:00 a.m. on Friday 5 of the same month.
Vehicles traveling in the direction of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and wishing to access any of the affected areas must continue to the San Eugenio junction (75), where they can make a U-turn and return towards Santa Cruz to their destination.
Likewise, vehicles seeking to join from Adeje, Los Menores, Armeñime or Playa Paraíso (81) to Santa Cruz, should go towards Guía de Isora until the junction of La Vera and Playa San Juan (87), to make a change of sense.
These works are part of the TF-1 resurfacing plan that has been carried out since last April and which includes an execution period of approximately 14 months. In total, the works, carried out by SACYR, will include about 40 kilometers of the road between Adeje and Arico.
