In Santa Cruz de Tenerife and La Laguna, agents of the National Police have arrested three people, two men and a woman between 19 and 22 years old of Spanish nationality, with numerous police records, as alleged perpetrators of four crimes of robbery with violence and intimidation committed in different establishments open to the public and, also, for their alleged membership of a criminal group.
Likewise, a fourth person, an 18-year-old who is currently deprived of liberty as he is serving a sentence for other acts of a similar nature, has been investigated for the same reasons as the previous ones.
The investigation of the National Police began in January of this year for the successive commission of several robberies with violence and intimidation in different types of establishments open to the public in the capital of Tenerife.
The events shared similar features in the modus operandi, commission time slots, a variable number of people who accessed the establishment and intimidated the workers with knives to take over the collection, which led to the development of a working hypothesis based on that the alleged The perpetrators were the same people in all cases.
In total, the damages caused by the violent robberies reported amounted to 6,649 euros.
The proceedings carried out by the investigators confirmed the line of investigation developed.

Thus, after identifying the alleged members of the criminal group, a device was established to proceed with their detention in safety conditions in such a way that the three young people, two men and one woman, were arrested in the capital of Tenerife and in La Laguna.
At the same time, a fourth man, deprived of liberty since he is serving a sentence in a penitentiary for similar acts, was related and investigated for the same facts as the young detainees.
The detainees, together with the statement made for this purpose, were made available to the competent judicial authority.
The action has been carried out by national police officers from the Investigation Group of the National Police Station of the North District of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
