In the case against three people for the commission of an alleged crime of threats against Councilor Evelyn Alonso, the prosecutor in charge of the case has requested that it be dismissed in two of the three defendants. As DIARIO DE AVISOS has learned, in response to the appeal for reform filed by one of the defendants against the holding of a trial for a minor crime of threats, the prosecutor upholds the aforementioned appeal, relying on the arguments they brought, in two more times, to the file of the proceedings.
In this way, and as stated in the prosecutor’s brief of one of these defendants, and that according to the sources consulted, is repeated in at least one of the defendants, the appeal filed is considered because, as “we said in the aforementioned briefs , the comment that he himself issued “you have to protect your son well. Minimum 20,000 euros per month in protection ”, from an objective point of view it cannot be interpreted as directed at the complainant with the aim of instilling fear in her with the idea of causing harm to her child, since the comment is framed in the thread of other comments from various users regarding the protection, security and escort of the complainant adopted after the motion of censure, so that in the aforementioned reply it cannot be stated with certainty that said comment constitutes a threat and not the broadcast of a recommendation or value judgment ”. The alleged threats were received by the complainant through social networks, a reason that the City Council uses to justify Alonso’s escort service.
