SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct 22 (EUROPA PRESS) –
An 11-year-old boy has been rescued this Friday by lifeguards from the pool of a hotel in Arona (Tenerife), as they found him face down in the water, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of the 112 of the Canary Islands.
The events took place at around 12:26 pm in a hotel located on Calle Great Britain of the aforementioned municipality, the place to which the staff of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) traveled after being alerted to the rescue of a minor with symptoms of drowning. .
Once at the scene, the SUC staff verified that the minor had symptoms of moderate semi-drowning, except for complications, for which he was transferred by medical ambulance to Hospiten Sur.
Likewise, local police officers appeared at the scene of the incident and collaborated with the health emergency service.
