SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct 22 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The president of the Cabildo de Tenerife, Pedro Martín, inaugurated this Friday Feboda and the Fashion Fair, vindicated this sector as “strategic” for the island’s economy because although it is “apparently small, it has managed to resist despite the enormous difficulties and capable of putting creativity and enthusiasm to generate a product that can go out, and those signs of identity, positively, are needed “.
Martín has been accompanied by the Minister of Socioeconomic Development, Employment and Foreign Action, Carmen Luz Baso; the insular director of Socioeconomic Development, Ermitas Moreira, and other public representatives of the insular and local administration.
Feboda and the Tenerife Fashion Fair will remain open until next Sunday in the large warehouse of the Tenerife Fairgrounds with more than 8,000 square meters of exhibition and the participation of 80 companies distributed in 117 stands.
“The opportunity to be here today is, at least, festive, I have visited these facilities to accommodate stretchers, nurses and staff of the Canary Islands Health Service, today the opportunity to dress the Fairgrounds in color is a great joy”, said the president .
Baso insisted on the need to continue supporting “these sectors, both weddings and fashion and design, in general, to give continuity to the support that from the Cabildo de Tenerife we have been offering to designers and entrepreneurs in the world of fashion “.
Thus, he detailed that last Wednesday the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands published the aid for designers who want to go to parades and fairs for a total of 110,000 euros with which the Cabildo can collaborate with an amount of up to 10,000 euros at most per company or designer.
These two annual trade fairs will bring together 80 companies in a single area of 8,000 square meters with a wide range of accommodation, specialized professional photography and video, makeup, jewelry and alliances, styling, floral arrangements, vehicles for the occasion, organization of events, trips, animation and music, accessories or ‘weddingplanner’ that “will have a significant boost after almost a year of paralysis with the support of the Cabildo de Tenerife, the Institución Ferial de Tenerife, which this year have decided to reduce the price to participate in Feboda “.
The price of the ticket will be four euros per day and with the possibility of acquiring a discount voucher of eight euros for the three days of the fair that can be purchased the same day at the ticket offices set up in the Tenerife Fairgrounds.
Among the meeting points between Feboda and the Tenerife Fashion Fair is the open catwalk, which one more year will show the new collections and trends of the main designers and prestigious brands.
