The regulatory bases of a call for subsidies to support the participation and organization of parades and catwalks of companies in the fashion sector of Tenerife, for an amount of 110,000 euros. The maximum subsidy to receive will be 10,000 euros for each company. The aim of this new line of aid is to support the strategic fashion sector through the creation of a specific line. The purpose of these grants is to facilitate the presence of companies from the Tenerife fashion sector in national and international fashion shows and catwalks held outside the island as a promotional element.
With these subsidies, the beneficiaries will be able to pay for models for the parade or to contract the services of backstage and room personnel –hairdresser, make-up, stylists, etc.–. It will also allow them to guarantee the space –including furniture rental and insurance– where the event will take place, as well as the expenses of elaboration of audiovisual material of the brand of the company destined for participation in the catwalk –videos, photographs …) . To this must be added the promotional actions, communication campaigns and digital marketing cAssociation of online invitations, social networks, web platform or advertising in communication media. Finally, it covers the payment of fees or fees for participation in parades organized by third parties.
The deadline for submitting applications will be ten calendar days to be counted from the one following the publication of the extract of the call in the BOP, through the National Subsidies Database. The form for each call will be available to those interested in the electronic headquarters in the Procedures and Services section.
2022 Modernization Plan
The Cabildo is already working with the city councils to define the Municipal Modernization Plan 2022. The Minister of the Presidency, Finance and Modernization, Berta Pérez has chaired the first meeting of the Insular Modernization Commission, a body for coordination, participation and monitoring. In this initial meeting, the projects that can be included in the next exercise have been defined. The official proposal includes new plans related to electronic administration, accessibility of internet portals, data protection or the improvement of citizens’ digital capabilities through the Insular Network of Digital Inclusion Centers (RICID). Pérez explains that “now a participatory phase is beginning in which the municipalities have a month to make suggestions, propose improvements or even different projects. The Municipal Modernization Plan 2022 could be approved before the end of this year.
