The Quadrilateral will be declared a “risk zone for public health”

The mayor of La Laguna, Luis Yeray Gutierrez, announced today that “the Government of the Canary Islands is going to decree the Quadrilateral area and its surroundings as public health risk zone, and that will greatly facilitate our troops, both the National Police and the Local Police, that in the streets adjacent to this area of ​​the Quadrilateral, all alcoholic substances and sound devices can be requisitioned, so that the problems we are facing do not occur. having agglomerations ”in the macro bottles that are taking place in recent weekends.

A device that will involve “limiting access with a series of filters in the adjacent streets” and greater police presence, among other measures, and that will begin to be applied at 8:00 p.m. tomorrow.

The mayor of La Laguna, the subdelegate of the Government, Javier Plata; the general director of Child and Family Protection of the Government of the Canary Islands, Iratxe Serrano; as well as members of the Municipal Corporation and representatives of Metropolitano de Tenerife and of the National Police and Local Police.
