The lines on the TF-5 affect Pedro’s health: “You are tense all day because you don’t know what time you are going to arrive”
Queues this Wednesday on the Autopista del Norte.

The traffic on the north highway (TF-5) at peak times is still a headache for drivers who have to move on this road. The circulation becomes more complicated if there are traffic accidents.

Without going any further, two accidents paralyzed the TF-5 in the direction of Santa Cruz in the last two days. One of them took place yesterday at the height of Santa Úrsula shortly before the clock struck 4:00 p.m., while the other occurred this morning at 6:15 a.m. on its way through Guamasa. In the latter, a woman was injured and the traffic jam that it caused lasted at least until 9:30 a.m.

One of the drivers who were affected by the long queues, Pedro, declared in Cope Tenerife It took 40 minutes to get from El Sauzal to Guamasa, a relatively short journey.

“It’s tremendous, it happens every day. There is always a problem, be it an accident or a traffic jam ”, said the person affected to the aforementioned media. “The problem is the amount of cars that move from the North every morning; people start looking for exits along the main road or through Agua García and then the entrances to the highway collapse ”.

The time Pedro loses on this road – between two and two and a half hours – has affected his health. “They are stomach and psychological problems. You are tense all day because you do not know what time you are going to arrive at work, just like when you go out to eat and have to return in the afternoon. You do not rest and you have no life ”, he declared.
