Canary Islands notify this week 33 sprouts new from coronavirus with 132 cases, of which 22 have been produced in Gran Canaria, five in Tenerife, five in Fuerteventura and one in Lanzarote.
By area in which they have occurred, 15 are in socially vulnerable groups (related to the arrival of immigrants in boats to the Islands), seven social, four work, four family, two educational and one sports.
All but one outbreak has fewer than 10 associated cases.
More numerous by areas
Outbreaks produced in socially vulnerable groups notified among people arriving in the Canary Islands in patera or cayucos 10 correspond to Gran Canaria, four to Fuerteventura and one to Lanzarote.
The outbreaks reported in the family, social and work areas have, in general, between three and five associated cases, except for one work caused on a ship in Gran Canaria that has 11 people affected.
The two educational outbreaks, both with family branches and with seven associated cases each, have occurred one in primary education in Gran Canaria and the other in early childhood education in Tenerife.
Ancient shoots
Four old outbreaks are also being monitored: a work-related one in Tenerife with 30 cases, another with 15 people affected in the Santo Domingo Social Health Center, in Tenerife, a family member in Fuerteventura with nine affected and a work-related / family one in Tenerife with eight cases linked.
