The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 16.08 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, a low figure in relation to other stages of the pandemic and at 14 days in 33.50 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. So far, a total of 2,201,251 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 2,090 correspond to yesterday.
If we look at each island separately, it can be seen how in the case of Tenerife 22 cases were added yesterday, as in the previous day, with a total of 45,936 accumulated cases and 344 epidemiologically active cases, suffering a decrease with respect to the previous day in which there were 384 active cases. Santa Cruz, specifically, accumulated 175. In terms of medical discharges, there was an increase compared to the previous day. From 94,397 yesterday to 94,295 in the previous 24 hours. In this sense, Santa Cruz de Tenerife registered 21,271 new arrivals and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 31,315.

In the case of El Hierro, it does not register new positives, so its accumulated numbers are 467 and it also lacks new active cases. For its part, La Gomera does not add cases in 48 hours either, so its accumulated are 404 and it does not have any active cases like El Hierro.
