SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 16 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The 4.5 (mbLg) earthquake located today Saturday at 07:07 am by the National Geographic Institute (IGN) on the island of La Palma have finally been two tremors in a row, barely two seconds apart, of magnitude 4.3 and 4.5.
This has been reported by the IGN, who has highlighted “how difficult” the analysis of this event, which has already been corrected in the list of earthquakes registered on the island in recent hours.
According to this list, what at first was a 4.5 earthquake, finally, there have been two tremors of 4.3 and 4.5 located at depths of 37 and 34 km, the second of which was felt with an intensity of IV- V.
The earthquake that occurred last morning of magnitude 4.6 (mbLg) and intensity III-IV continues to be the highest magnitude recorded since this eruptive process began on La Palma.
