This event, which has established itself as an international benchmark for the latest trends in specialized swimwear fashion and as a meeting point for experts in the field, is a unique platform in Europe. It promotes trends in the sector and also serves as a tourist promotion for Tenerife and Adeje. In its fourth edition, once again had the involvement of the international top model and presenter Nieves Álvarez, who presented, together with Roberto Herrera (TVE Canarias), this exclusive catwalk. So much so that, at the gates of winter, it becomes a spectacular outdoor swimwear fashion show with a unique sunset as a backdrop.
Sustainability
The Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje (Tfbca) was attended by 15 Canarian firms that presented their new collections for the beach and pool, supported by five brands specialized in accessories, all committed to fashion and the defense of the oceans under the Plastic Free solidarity cause. A purpose that is committed to a more sustainable future by eliminating single-use plastic to reduce the pollution of our seas.
Brands attached to Tenerife Moda and invited to the Gran Canaria Moda Cálida, Isla Bonita, Lanzarote Moda and Italia programs played a prominent role on the great catwalk, reaffirming the success of this commitment that, in previous editions, consolidated the Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje as a benchmark in the international swimwear scene.
The event was also followed via streaming around the world by about 20,000 followers of the official channels of Tenerife Fashion Beach and Tenerife Moda, as well as in person by almost 500 people, because this year the capacity has been reduced due to the pandemic. In its three previous editions, the Fashion Beah was positioned as one of the catwalks with the greatest projection, registering in the 2019 call a total of 26,260,198 million direct impacts and a return on investment as value in communication (accounted for up to the latest edition) of 3,630,693 million.
1st Fashion Forum.
Today another of the actions planned for this fourth edition will take place, with the celebration of the 1st Tenerife Fashion Beach Fashion Forum, which will bring together experts and professionals from the sector in Costa Adeje around a round table, a space dedicated to training, the debate and the future of the sector and as part of the Tenerife Volcanic Fashion action calendar. Communication, social networks in the field of fashion, the study of the product and where the market is going will be the central themes of this round table of companies and experts, which will be moderated by the fashion journalist Jesús María Montes-Fernández, director of the Flash Moda and Flash Moda program.

The fourth edition of the Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje can be followed both in digital format and in person. In this very special edition, marked by the need to maintain and create safe environments, the capacity is reduced by adjusting to the approaches allowed by the health authorities at that time, although the parades can be followed through the official Tfbca platforms in a way online and through delayed television.
Television broadcasts by Televisión Española, Hosted by the presenter of the Flash Moda program, Nieves Álvarez, they could be seen throughout Spain thanks to the special summaries broadcast on TVE 1 and 2. Likewise, more than 70 accredited media and photographers captured images of this great natural catwalk in a previous edition that have traveled around the world.
A special attention to social networks and the presence of prominent bloggers and influencers have allowed this year’s Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje to have also been a leader in social networks. The organization explains that for this reason, in past editions they had guests such as Jessica Goicoechea, Eliad Cohen or Natalia Ferviú, posting their experience on the island of Tenerife to the millions of followers on their social networks.
