The Vallecid-Canarias.com Group, led by businessman Juan Vallecillo, has acquired the Costa Adeje Garden tourist complex, a modern 180-bed facility located in the upper area of San Eugenio, in Costa Adeje, with sea views, outdoor pool open air and solarium terrace. Until now, the Canarian company was the owner of a part of the establishment and, with this operation, it takes over the entire hotel complex. The purchase represents an advance in the commitment to diversify the activities carried out by this group of companies, which in recent years has become one of the most prominent in the segment of car rental with multilingual drivers, having a wide range of modern limousines and state-of-the-art clean vehicles. In addition, the company develops its activity in the business of tour operation, travel agencies, excursions and the creation of personalized tourist experiences. Now, with the acquisition of the Costa Adeje Garden complex, it is expanding its business segment in the tourism industry.

Juan Vallecillo told this newspaper that “it is time to invest in our Island and make all the necessary efforts to create and maintain jobs that contribute to a rapid recovery of the tourism sector.” The businessman is optimistic with the evolution of tourism once the effects caused by the pandemic begin to be overcome thanks to the advance in vaccination. “I have always bet that we were going to get ahead and we are already seeing it, so I am optimistic,” he said, and remarked that expectations are favorable: “It is seen in the number of reservations for the winter, the recovery of jobs and the progressive departure of employees from ERTE, as well as the hiring of new personnel ”. With this panorama, very different from last year, Vallecillo invited us to “look to the future with optimism”.
The head of this conglomerate of service companies acknowledged that he is studying other possible investments in the sector.
