SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct 12 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Canary Islands have registered 40 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, so the total accumulated cases in the Islands is already 95,769 with 900 active, of which 25 are admitted to the ICU and 100 remain hospitalized. In the last hours there has been no death related to the coronavirus in the Islands.
The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 16.59 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 38.51 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. To date, a total of 2,179,143 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 3,862 correspond to yesterday.
By islands, Tenerife today adds 26 cases with a total of 45,811 accumulated cases and 472 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria has 36,521 accumulated cases, 11 more than the previous day and 235 active. Lanzarote adds a single case with 6,953 accumulated and 66 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura has 4,504 accumulated cases, two new cases, and 119 active ones.
La Palma does not add new cases and has 1,109 accumulated and three active cases; El Hierro does not register new positives, so its accumulated are 467 and its assets are five. For its part, La Gomera does not add cases either, so its accumulated are 403 and it remains without active cases.
