The Cabildo of Tenerife, through the Education and Youth area, has opened the period for the application corresponding to the scholarships language immersion, which can be registered until November 3.

On this occasion, three modalities are offered to study French, English and German in Canada, France, Ireland, USA and Germany, and aimed at students of third and fourth of Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) depending on the option chosen.

The Minister of Education and Youth, Concepcion Rivero, explains in a note that they offer 505 spaces with three types of scholarships: language immersion, impulse and the dual, with which students will spend between four and fifteen weeks in the chosen country to study the language.

The linguistic immersion scholarships can be made in Ireland, Canada or France for 105 days.

The students will have homestay accommodation, will attend an educational center of the public network of the destination country and those who do third of ESO during the school year 2021/2022.

They also include a stay of a minimum of four weeks in Ireland, Canada, France or Germany, depending on the language chosen, in the vacation period after the end of the course. Those who study the third year of ESO during the 2021/2022 school year may apply for this scholarship.

Dual 4 scholarships, with combined face-to-face and online characteristics, are aimed at obtaining the Bachelor’s degree from the United States or Canada in parallel to Spanish, with which both degrees will be obtained.
