The visit of King Felipe VI forces to cut “briefly” the circulation in several main streets of Santa Cruz de Tenerife



The Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has reported this Thursday that, starting at 09.30 hours, there will be several traffic cuts in the entrance roads and the city center, on the occasion of the arrival of King Felipe VI to the Parliament of the Canary Islands to deliver to the regional Chamber the Gold Medal awarded by the Royal Canarian Academy of Fine Arts of San Miguel Arcángel, later, he will attend an extraordinary meeting of the Canary Islands Tourism Council.

From its Twitter account, the Chicharrera Police explains that a comprehensive device will regulate traffic at the main crossings affected and that the cuts will be “brief.”

Likewise, around 12.30 pm, similar traffic cuts are planned, but in the direction of leaving the city. “They will be very brief traffic cuts,” they reiterate. In addition, they will be “coordinated between different security forces and bodies, entering from the North highway (TF-5) and exiting towards the South highway (TF-1).”

Felipe VI will close in the afternoon, at 4.30 pm, the first meeting of Ministers of Justice from Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries to be held at the Abama hotel in Guía de Isora.
