The Santa Cruz City Council wants to know in what structural state are some of the buildings that are part of its heritage, to prevent future damage, but also to give them a use in case they no longer have it. At the Governing Board held yesterday, the Infrastructure area, headed by Dámaso Arteaga, approved the contracting of five lots, corresponding to as many properties, the sum of which reaches 159,000 euros. The first to evaluate is the old Alfonso Carrillo school, located on Abenhama street. The second building is the old Cine San Martín, in El Toscal, which has been waiting for years for future municipal use. The fourth lot is the one that will evaluate the so-called Volvo building, where Civil Protection is currently located. While the last of the buildings is the Municipal Palace itself.
