Temperatures will rise slightly in the Canary Islands this Wednesday, when clear skies will predominate but with intervals of clouds at times and the wind will be light to moderate, according to the State Meteorological Agency.

The maximum will reach 27 degrees in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, where the minimum will be 22, and 26 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where it will drop to 21, according to its forecast, which details that the wind is expected from the northeast and weak to moderate, although with predictable strong local intervals in different areas of several islands.

Northeast winds are also expected in the waters of the archipelago, where they will have force 5 to 6 and there will be swell or strong swell, with a north sea of ​​2 to 3 meters.

The weather forecast for Wednesday, by islands, is as follows:

GRAN CANARIA

In the north, below 1100 to 1200 meters, cloudy tending to slightly cloudy in the afternoon with the presence of high clouds. Little cloudy or clear in the rest with intervals of high clouds. Minimum temperatures in slight decrease in low areas of the south. Maximum in slight ascent, more significant in high areas of the north slope. Northeast wind, with strong intervals on southeast and west slopes in the afternoon. Breezes on the southwest coast. On peaks it will blow from the east, turning to the southwest.

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria 21/26

LANZAROTE

In the northern half, cloudy intervals with a predominance of low clouds and the presence of high cloudiness, tending to the opening of wide clearings from noon. In the rest, slightly cloudy or clear with intervals of high clouds. Minimum temperatures unchanged. Highs in slight ascent. Northeast wind light to moderate with breezes off the south coast.

FUERTEVENTURA

Cloudy intervals with a predominance of low clouds on the coasts with high cloudiness in the rest of the areas. After noon it will tend to open wide clearings. Minimum temperatures unchanged. Highs in slight ascent. Loose to moderate northeast wind, more intense on the southern slope of Jandía in the afternoon. Breezes on south-facing coasts.

San Sebastian de La Gomera 22/27

THE PALM

In the north and east, below 1200 to 1300 meters, cloudy tending to slightly cloudy in the afternoon with the presence of high clouds. Little cloudy or clear in the rest with intervals of high clouds. Ash predominantly on the west side of the island, should the emission continue. Minimum temperatures without changes or slight decrease. Highs in slight ascent. Loose to moderate northeast wind, more intense in extreme northwest and southeast. Breezes on the west and northeast coasts. On peaks, wind with a weak south component.
