Pichón Trail Project, based in La Orotava, hopes to obtain until next day 20 enough grants to obtain financing that will allow them to improve the quality of life of those affected by multiple sclerosis, “a neurodegenerative disease that has commonly received the name of the disease of a thousand faces, since it affects each patient in a different way, which is why a very personalized approach is needed ”. Their challenge is to improve the living conditions, “not only clinical, but also social, cultural or sports of those affected, from the values of empathy, participation and respect, and all under the same glue: optimism.”
This entity asks for the vote for the EMúsica project within you, which encourages «experimenting with our body and our voice as conducting threads to release, express, feel and integrate forms of self-care and enjoyment in our daily lives. This initiative proposes a space for growth and self-care, using the musical experience as a connector ”. He adds that “the benefits that music has on people’s lives and development are a reality” that Pichón Trail wants to take advantage of in its daily fight to stop multiple sclerosis.
Until yesterday afternoon, Pichón Trail Project had almost 900 votes and was in position 16 of the general classification. This non-profit group recalls that for the votes to be valid it is necessary to “confirm them through a link that is sent by email.”
Pichón Trail Project works, since 2014, to make visible and help people suffering from multiple sclerosis. They usually do it through sports, but they also help with the development of training, information and support projects. In 2019, they already obtained funding from the Cinfa Laboratory for their Art with emotions project, thanks to the popular vote.
