SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct 2 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the Roads area, continues with the third phase of rehabilitation of the Autopista del Sur (TF-1), which includes the resurfacing of the section that goes from Costa Adeje to Playa Paraíso, between kilometer points 76 , 8 and 81.1.
To do this, the traffic will be diverted before the section of action in the south direction, so that all vehicles will circulate on the road in the Santa Cruz direction, using only one lane for each direction.
The works will be carried out from tomorrow, Sunday, October 3, until Friday, October 7. During those nights the following links will remain closed: 78 towards Costa Adeje / La Caleta / Fañabé, 79A at the entrance to Adeje, 79B towards Las Nieves / Los Olivos and 81 towards Los Menores / Armeñime / Playa Paraíso.
The first vice-president and counselor for Roads, Enrique Arriaga, recalls that the works “are carried out at night, between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., to affect traffic to a lesser extent and minimize inconvenience to drivers; during the day, this important route recovers normality “.
Vehicles heading south and wishing to access La Caleta, Adeje or Los Menores / Armeñime / Playa Paraíso must circulate until junction 87 of La Vera / Playa San Juan, to make a U-turn.
Likewise, vehicles taking the TF-1 from interchanges 78, 79A, 79B and 81 in the direction of Guía de Isora must exit towards Santa Cruz until interchange 73 of Playa de las Américas to make a U-turn and join the back to the road towards Los Cristianos.
These works are part of the TF-1 resurfacing plan that has been underway since last April and which includes an execution period of approximately 14 months.
In total, the works, carried out by SACYR, will comprise about 40 kilometers of the road between Adeje and Arico.
