SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct 2 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, will travel to La Palma again this Sunday to monitor the effects caused by the eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano.
After meeting with the Pevolca Steering Committee at 11 a.m., the president will appear before the media at around 12 a.m. at the Salazar Palace together with the president of the Canary Islands, Ángel Víctor Torres.
Pedro Sánchez’s visit to the island of La Palma takes place two weeks after the eruption began, on September 19, and has already affected more than a thousand buildings.
