Loro Parque yesterday delivered the Gorilla Awards 2019 and 2020 at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Government of the Canary Islands in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. On this occasion, this prestigious award was presented to Dr. Robin Ganzert, CEO and president of the American Humane Association, and to the councilors emeritus of the Loro Parque Fundación, highlighting their environmental responsibility and attending to their strategies and actions to conserve the biodiversity and for the sustainable use of resources. The event was attended by the President of the Government of the Canary Islands, Ángel Víctor Torres; the president of the Parliament of the Canary Islands, Gustavo Matos; the president of the Cabildo, Pedro Martín, as well as the president of the Loro Parque Company, Wolfgang Kiessling; the vice president, Christoph Kiessling, and the journalist Leopoldo Fernández Cabeza de Vaca.
