SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Sep 24 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Canaryfly company, the second airline for inter-island flights in the Canary Islands, announced this Friday, like Binter, that it will not operate flights to the island of La Palma due to the evolution of the volcanic ash cloud that affects the island after the eruption .
The company, pending at all times the evolution of the situation generated as a result of the volcano eruption, has been forced to make this decision in order to guarantee the safety of all its flights, it says in a note.
Canaryfly is already serving all the passengers affected by this temporary suspension of operations with the island of La Palma, contacting them through the usual channels of the airline and offering them alternatives.
The temporary suspension of the operation affects, for the moment, only flights to and from La Palma and the rest of the schedule continues to develop normally.
Aena sources consulted by Europa Press specify that all the airports in the archipelago remain operational but after the cancellation of an Iberia flight and the paralysis of the Binter and Canarfly fleet, for this Friday there will be no more connections with the ‘pretty island’ .
