SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 23 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Government Delegation has requested Enaire to create two restricted areas of airspace in the vicinity of La Palma airport to facilitate emergency operations, sources from the air navigation manager inform Europa Press.
Thus, only State security forces and bodies, emergency services, State aircraft and those duly authorized may enter that area and it does not affect commercial flights because they do not fly over those two areas.
For now, La Palma airport remains open, Aena sources specify, although there are already six inter-island flights delayed.
