This alleged participation in the serious crime shows, in the opinion of the National Police investigators, the dangerousness, violence and procedures used by some of the 106 arrested for the laundering of more than 10 million euros that various mafia groups had obtained with computer fraud in different European countries. In addition, another of those arrested is linked to a second homicide in Italy.
Regarding the violent death perpetrated in Adeje, the events occurred at a home in the Island Village residential complex, on May 5.
The British Andrew Ashley W., 31, along with two other people who were not identified at first, went to the house where five people resided, allegedly with the intention of perpetrating a robbery. At one point, Ashley knocks on the door and is let in by another British citizen, Jimmy N. The latter is pushed by the former, who was carrying a knife. A scuffle ensued between them and Jimmy, with the help of another male who lived with him, snatched the knife from him. Later, Jimmy N. stabbed Andrew in the shoulder, who died.
