These are university extension courses, organized by the Vice-Rector’s Office for Culture, Social Participation and Campus Ofra and La Palma, with the collaboration of the City Council of Granadilla de Abona. Due to the health alert situation, the application of the capacity control in the celebration spaces is announced, guaranteeing the pertinent security measures. Attendees registered in Granadilla de Abona will have to pay 10 euros for tuition, while the rest will pay 20 euros.
The councilor of the Employment and Local Development Agency (AEDL), Yanira González, encourages the population to join these training actions “that bring the University closer to our municipality and that allows us to study diverse and interesting content.” The mayor also recalls that through the AEDL an online training program is offered, totally free for local people from Granada. It includes more than 500 courses until the end of the year, which can be consulted on the municipal website.
It clarifies that this training action is face-to-face and is aimed at those interested in the tourism sector and entrepreneurship. Correa calls to enroll in this training provided by the University of La Laguna, taking into account that it adjusts to market demand.
