The Nursing teams of the Canary Islands Health Service have administered 3,083,595 doses of vaccines against COVID-19 and 70.08 percent of young people between 12 and 19 years of age already have the complete vaccination schedule.
In the Archipelago, 84.20 percent of the target population (that other 12 years old that amounts to 1,960,774 people) is already vaccinated against COVID-19, since there are already 1,651,045 people who have received, at less, one dose of the vaccine.
In addition, until yesterday 1,599,786 people had been immunized who have already received the complete vaccination schedule, which represents 81.59 percent of the target population of the Archipelago.
At present, groups from 1 to 7 (residents and health and social health personnel of residences; health personnel; large dependents and main caregivers; vulnerable people; groups with essential functions such as teachers and policemen and people with very high risk conditions) are already vaccinated with two doses between 99.5 and 99.9%.
As for the rest of groups by age, in Group 8 (people between 60 and 65 years old), 82.92 percent have at least one dose and 64.90 percent have the complete regimen; Group 9 (50-59 years), 95.97% with at least one dose and 96.71 with complete regimen, and Group 10 (40-49 years), 59.84% with at least one dose and 77 , 73 with complete regimen (includes immunized with Janssen which is a single dose vaccine).
In Group 11, which includes people between 30 and 39 years old, 64.86 percent have at least one dose and 60.41 the complete regimen; Group 12 (20-29 years), 60.23% with one dose and 55.25 with the complete regimen, and Group 13 (12-19 years), 75.92% with one dose and 70.08%. cent with complete pattern.
