The Nursing teams of the Canary Health Service have administered 3,082,291 doses of vaccines against COVID-19 and 69.84 percent of young people between 12 and 19 years old, who make up Group 13, already have the complete vaccination schedule, as reported by the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands.
In the Archipelago, 84.18 percent of the target population (that other 12 years old that amounts to 1,960,774 people) is already vaccinated against COVID-19, since there are already 1,650,614 people who have received, at less, one dose of the vaccine.
In addition, until yesterday 1,598,751 people who have already received the complete vaccination schedule had been immunized, which represents 81.54 percent of the target population of the Archipelago.
At present, groups from 1 to 7 (residents and health and social health personnel of residences; health personnel; large dependents and main caregivers; vulnerable people; groups with essential functions such as teachers and policemen and people with very high risk conditions) are already vaccinated with two doses between 99.5 and 99.9%.
As for the rest of the groups by age, in Group 8 (People between 60 and 65 years old) 82.92 percent have at least one dose and 64.84 percent the complete regimen; in Group 9 (50-59 years), 95.97% with at least one dose and 96.69 with complete regimen, and in Group 10 (40-49 years), 59.83% with at least one dose and 77.70 with complete schedule (including immunized with Janssen which is a single dose vaccine).
In Group 11 (people between 30 and 39 years old), 64.83 percent had at least one dose and 60.37 percent had the full regimen; Group 12 (20-29 years), 60.19% with one dose and 55.20 with complete regimen, and in Group 13 (12-19 years), 75.83% with one dose and 69.84% cent with complete pattern.
