The El Rosario City Council has completed the work to review the street map in the Los Toscales area, bordering the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and has assigned to the houses located on El Cabezo road, Candelaria road and Los Toscales street their corresponding government numbers. The installation work on the plates with the house numbers has recently concluded, putting an end to a historical problem that caused difficulties in receiving mail or managing procedures that would entail authenticating the postal address.
The mayor of El Rosario, Escolástico Gil, supervised the placement of the hundred number plates of the houses. The first mayor explains that «the nucleus of Los Toscales has historically suffered a series of problems coupled with the lack of street numbers that generated many inconveniences for its residents, especially in times when the usual postman in the area was temporarily replaced by another worker ‘.
