SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Sep 16 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Governing Council of the Canary Islands agreed this Thursday to appoint Montserrat García Santana as the new general director of the Public Function, a department dependent on the Ministry of Public Administration, Justice and Security.
García is staff of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, with the professional category of technician of superior degree, group I, in the Unit of Planning and Management of Human Resources of the General Directorate of the Public Function.
García obtained a degree in Economics from the University of La Laguna, specializing in regional economics.
From 2002 to the present, he has worked in the Canary Islands Public Administration, where he has extensive experience in the management of human resources in the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands.
Prior to his experience as staff of the Autonomous Community, he had worked in the Canarian Federation of Municipalities (Fecam) in the creation of an economic-legal database, as well as in the preparation of reports and statistics of an economic nature related to reality municipal.
In addition, he was in the General Directorate of Commerce of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the Government of the Canary Islands, performing technical-administrative tasks.
