Castro took office as insular director of Sports in August 2019. She was born in San Cristóbal de La Laguna. It is PhD candidate in Law, Society and Tourism from the University of La Laguna, where he also completed a Degree in Journalism and a Diploma in Tourism. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Information Sciences from the same university and a Master’s Degree in Marketing and Digital Communication IMF from the Camilo José Cela University in Madrid.
