The area councilor, Javier Parrilla, explains that the possibility of exchanging water that Balten has to urgently supply the Archifira reservoir is also being considered and, thus, guaranteeing irrigation to the farmers of this municipality this summer.
Parrilla points out that coordination and cooperation between public administrations in essential services for farmers, as in this case, is essential to achieve the necessary results. “We will continue our line of making effective agricultural policies and, in the case of irrigated water, taking advantage of Balten’s capacity and technical knowledge and optimizing a resource that is so necessary and valued by the sector,” he says.
