The Guía de Isora City Council does not contemplate actions in the coastal puddles nor has it requested it from other administrations, as stated by the Canarian Coalition group in Guía de Isora. The master plan for tidal pools prepared by the Government of the Canary Islands “is a study of the needs with areas susceptible to improvement, which include some on the Isoran coast,” says the municipal government.
The mayor, Josefa Mesa, explains that “this document is only a study, that is why we do not understand CC’s desire for controversy when we are not developing any initiative in this regard. Our magnificent coastline has been meeting the conditions for its proper use and enjoyment for a long time ». Likewise, it reiterates, coinciding with what was announced from the Ministry of Tourism, that “all action must be agreed with the competent administrations, starting with the municipalities.”
