Candelaria closes its beaches again after detecting oil stains

THE CITY COUNCILS PROHIBITED BATHING ON THE WHOLE COAST OF CANDELARIA AND ARAFO AND SEVERAL BEACHES OF SANTA CRUZ AND GÜÍMAR WERE ALSO CLOSED.
THE CITY COUNCILS PROHIBITED BATHING ON THE WHOLE COAST OF CANDELARIA AND ARAFO AND SEVERAL BEACHES OF SANTA CRUZ AND GÜÍMAR WERE ALSO CLOSED.

The Town hall of Candelaria close all the beaches of the municipality as a preventive measure after detecting again the presence of hydrocarbons in water of which the origin is unknown.

The Department of Health after locating in the water and on the shore of the beaches the presence of more spots has proceeded to preventive closure of the same.

In this way, bathing on the beaches of the municipality is prohibited and citizens are informed about the activation of the intensive cleaning service as soon as the tide allows it.
