The technical service of Tourism of Tenerife Council The Innovatur project will end next week with a conference that addresses the challenges of tourism.
The Insular Corporation has explained that it has organized the Conference Exchange of knowledge and experiences of the Innovatur Project, in which More than twenty speakers, experts in the tourism field and specialists in the relationship of this sector with sustainability, digitization and the renovation of urban environments, will present their views on the current situation, trends and challenges of tourism in Madeira, Azores and the Canary Islands.
The event, which will take place online, will have as a common axis the exchange of personal or business knowledge, as well as the experiences acquired during the Innovatur project.
It will begin next Tuesday, September 7, and each presentation will last an hour and a half. Registration, free of charge, is now open in the Events tab of the website www.innovatur.eu
In this regard, the insular director of Coordination and Support for the President, Aarón Afonso, who will be in charge of closing the conference on September 16, assures that “the objective is to share everything that the Innovatur project has meant for the destinations that they integrate it and share experiences about its impact on companies, organizations and institutions “.
In the same way, he added that “the program also has technical presentations by specialists in the sector, from each region, who will provide a vision of tourism in the MAC Space (Madeira, Azores and the Canary Islands)”.
The 24 planned seminars, which will include a translation service from Portuguese to Spanish and vice versa, will be held online and will address different topics that affect the tourism sector within the framework of the Innovatur project, funded by the INTERREG-MAC program.
