The Candelaria Town Hall progressively reopens the Beaches after performing intensive cleaning services for hydrocarbon remains found in them.
They are currently open and ready for use the beaches of Las Caletillas, sector 1 of the beach of Punta Larga (the closest to Candelaria), La Hornilla and Playa de Olegario. Throughout this afternoon and taking care of the tides, the cleaning teams will be able to continue in sector 2 of Punta Larga Beach (closer to Caletillas), Playa de la Viuda and Playa de los Guanches.
In Güímar, after the assessment by the lifeguard service the last closed beach reopens (Cabezo A beach). At present the beaches and bathing areas are left open In its whole.
