The Candelaria City Council has managed to unblock and put out to tender the works of the Igueste drinking water reservoir and its supply networks in the streets La Morrita, Reverend Father Simón Higuera and Esteban Coello Pestano, paralyzed in 2019 due to non-compliance with the contracted company. This situation led to “a complex procedure for terminating the contract,” according to the Candelaria Government Group (PSOE).
With a budget of 883,715 euros, the tender is electronic, so that the offers must be submitted through the Public Sector Procurement Platform within a period of 26 calendar days from the day following the publication of the announcement. That deadline is met on September 14.
The work must be developed in 8 months and the proposals will assess, among other issues, the measures to “minimize the inconvenience caused to the neighbors.”
