San Juan de la Rambla launches the Back to School 2021 campaign, designed by the Department of Commerce in collaboration with the local association of merchants Aecor. It aims to promote purchases in local stores and help families to defray the extraordinary expenses of the beginning of the course. The businesses that will participate in this promotion correspond to bookstores, textile and footwear establishments and hairdressers.
During the campaign, 14 gift vouchers, worth 600 euros, will be raffled among those who invest 10 or more euros in the purchase of a service or item in the participating businesses, between August 27 and September 30. To participate in the raffle, you must register in one of the numbered boxes available in the establishments. The client can fill in as many numbered boxes as he wishes, as long as the minimum consumption of 10 euros is made. The winners of the gift vouchers will be known on October 6, broadcasting live through the official profile of the Consistory on Facebook.
“We continue to bet on economic reinvestment, so one of the conditions of gift vouchers is that the prize be used in the same business that provided it,” explains the Councilor for Commerce, Tomás Oramas. “In this way we guarantee a double benefit for the sector”, he adds.
Rambler mayor, Ezequiel Domínguez, highlights the municipality’s commercial park as “one of the great assets” of San Juan de la Rambla. The councilor assures that the local government is aware “of the complicated situation that is being experienced derived from the pandemic, so it is especially unique that, despite this, they continue to bet on getting ahead by providing the best of services.” In the line of supporting each of the initiatives in the sector, Domínguez recalls that “this campaign, the first born in collaboration with the recently re-founded association of merchants Aecor, is an example of this”.
