The Municipal Operational Coordination Center of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council (CECOPAL) recently announced the closing of a new beach on the capital’s coast due to the presence of hydrocarbons in the water and sand.
This time, it was the Roque de Las Bodegas beach: “A few minutes ago, spots were detected in the water and traces of hydrocarbons in the sand.” “It proceeds to its closure and communication to its users,” concludes the statement on Twitter.
In this regard, it was yesterday when remains of the aforementioned compound were detected in the Almáciga beach, where from this Monday the bathroom is prohibited.
