CC-PNC in the Cabildo demands “that the 221 million euros in investments that are missing from the 2021 budget be executed.” The Nationalist Group warns that “the PSOE and Ciudadanos have only executed 15.7% in the first seven months of the year.” Demand “greater speed” when launching projects “to create jobs and reactivate the economy.”

“The government group has plunged the Cabildo into a slowdown that harms the island economy and slows down job creation,” they add. Of the 262 million euros planned in investments, “only 41 had been executed as of July 31 and thus it is very difficult for the economy to improve”.

They list projects “necessary in areas as important as Tourism, Roads, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries or Social Action.” They value: “We are going to enter the last four months and it is necessary to accelerate investments.” CC specifies «the lack of management in Tourism, Planning and Historical Heritage, in which only 2.3 million euros of the 25 budgeted (9.50%) have been executed, and in Roads, Mobility, Innovation and Culture, with about 106 and 16 executed (14.98%) ». They conclude: “In Employment, Socioeconomic Development and Foreign Action, barely 5,000 euros of 7.1 million have been executed.”
