VALVERDE (EL HIERRO), Aug 30 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A helicopter from the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) has rescued a 60-year-old hiker with a mild shoulder dislocation on Monday after suffering a fall on the Jinama Trail, in La Frontera.
The events took place at 1:49 p.m. when the 1-1-2 Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert in which it was reported that a hiker had fallen and was injured.
The GES helicopter located and rescued the wound that was transferred to the vicinity of the island hospital where a basic life support ambulance from the SUC provided medical assistance and evacuated her.
The Civil Guard and members of Cecopin collaborated with the emergency services.
