The Cabildo de Tenerife Roads area will resurface four kilometers of the TF-1 motorway in the south from this Sunday until September 3, the links of the Polígono Industrial de Granadilla, as well as those of CoCarmen-Chimiche, being affected by the tasks. and San Isidro.
It’s a statement, the area councilor, Enrique Arriaga, has asked the drivers to “exercise extreme caution in the area” and recalled that the work will be carried out at night, between 10 pm and 6 am, “to affect traffic as little as possible on this high-occupancy road.”
The improvement works will focus on the intermediate layer of the road surface in the fast lane and on the inner shoulder that runs from kilometer point 52.7 to 56.7, previously removing the damaged pavement.
Due to the detours, this Sunday, those vehicles that circulate southbound and want to access the Granadilla Industrial Park must continue to the San Isidro junction, make a U-turn and return in the direction of Santa Cruz to the destination junction.
Likewise, people who want to go to the airport from the Granadilla Industrial Park should leave in the direction of Santa Cruz to the Chimiche junction, and make a U-turn to go south.
For their part, on Tuesday, vehicles that want to access the Granadilla Industrial Park heading south will have to continue to the Tenerife South airport link and make the U-turn.
Meanwhile, those who drive south and wish to access San Isidro, Granadilla or El Médano, including the CoCarmen Cooperative area, should continue to the airport link, make a U-turn and return towards Santa Cruz to San Isidro.
On the other hand, vehicles that wish to go from the Granadilla Industrial Park to the airport will have to go to Santa Cruz to the Chimiche junction and make the U-turn.
As of Wednesday, September 1, those who travel south and want to access San Isidro and the CoCarmen Cooperative area must continue to Tenerife Sur airport, make the U-turn and return towards Santa Cruz until the San junction. Isidro.
In addition, as the CoCarmen link becomes inoperative, those who go south from there will have to travel parallel to the highway on the service road and join the Los Cardones exit.
