SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug 24 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Last Friday night the National Police dissolved a ‘bottle’ with some 300 people near the Alcampo shopping center, in the municipality of La Laguna, and collaborated with the Local Police to evict 140 people who were in a leisure establishment on Avenida de la Trinidad whose opening was prohibited.
In total, during the week, the National Police opened 120 proposals for sanctions during the control mechanisms organized to guarantee compliance with the ‘anticovid’ regulations, with 28 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 74 in La Laguna, 2 in the Port of la Cruz, 7 in the south of Tenerife and 9 in Santa Cruz de la Palma.
In the specific case of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the sanctions affect young people who made ‘bottle’ in the areas of Avenida Anaga and Parque Maritímo, while in Puerto de la Cruz they were due to administrative offenses.
In general, 65 percent of the penalties are due to not wearing the mask in situations where it is mandatory.
