Canary Islands Coalition publicly denounces the neglect and filth that occurs in various areas of the municipality, a situation that “leaves much to be desired if, as the local PSOE government presumes, Guía de Isora aspires to have quality tourism and excellence”.

Isoran nationalists criticize “the little cleaning task that is carried out in various nuclei of the municipality”, something that “is far from the idyllic image that the local socialist government tries to sell and that, in no case, represents a claim attractive to neighbors and visitors.

In his criticism, CC alludes to the “poor condition of a multitude of sidewalks, streets and common spaces”, as well as “the danger posed by unmurred lots”. All this forms a set of situations whose solution “should be a priority for the local government group, because it shows a very unpleasant image of the municipality,” the nationalists point out.

After this analysis, the Municipal Group of the Canarian Coalition in the Isorano City Council will ask the local government «to prioritize cleaning and caring for our environment, since there have been many residents of various places in Guía de Isora who have manifested that they are tired of living with this situation of neglect and dirt.

In its task of exercising control of the management and making proposals, CC explains that “in the pandemic situation that we find ourselves, the application of the recommendations established by the health authorities must be maximized.” Along these lines, he states that the government group “must increase all material and human resources so that our municipality is truly a top-level tourist destination,” as claimed.

CC believes that “if the government group – made up of the absolute majority of the PSOE – has budgeted money to increase the trust personnel, it must also set an example and provide the means so that this unfortunate image of dirt does not occur again.” In addition, “it is essential to make citizens aware that our heritage must be taken care of together,” says the Municipal Group of CC.
