The Municipal Services Department of La Laguna has opened a new playground in the Aranjuez street square, an open space in La Cuesta that had no use and that meets the appropriate conditions so that minors can have fun in a comfortable and safe environment .
According to the City Council, the site chosen to install the playground is due to the characteristics of the square, with the paved ground, a grove that generates a lot of shade for users and a single dead-end access road, so traffic rolled is minimal.
The works, with a budget of 11,651 euros, consisted of placing various game elements (a tower complex with a slide, a climbing frame and springs) on a surface that was paved with a rubber tile to protect from possible falls, following the current regulations on this matter to guarantee the welfare and safety of minors.
