SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug 21 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 69-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman died during the night of this Friday and four other people were injured after an accident with three vehicles involved in the TF-66 road, in the Guaza area (Tenerife).
According to the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 112, Tenerife Firefighters had to free one of those affected from inside one of the cars so that he could receive health care.
For its part, the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) could only confirm the death of two of the occupants and assisted four other people, including a 49-year-old woman with severe multiple trauma and another 23-year-old who also suffered a severe multiple trauma; both being evacuated by ambulance to the Hospital Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria.
In addition, a 28-year-old man had moderate upper limb trauma and a fourth affected suffered cervical pain, for which they were transferred to Hospiten Sur.
For their part, Civil Guard agents took charge of making the corresponding report, while the Highway Service intervened with the marking of the accident area.
