A section of the promenade that runs between the towns of El Fraile and Las Galletas collapsed during yesterday afternoon. The cause, it seems, is found in the action of the sea. The first consequence is for traffic, so a lane to go down to Las Galletas remains operational, but the exit from that town can only be made through the highway that connects with Las Rosas, the local government reported.
Arona’s Security Councilor, Francisco Marichal, inspected the area together with technicians from the corporation, who carried out an assessment of the damage.
